'Taking Eye-Candy From Strangers' - Newcastle Young Writers' Festival Comic Exhibition
Last month, I had the privilege of participating in the Pat Grant curated exhibition of comic art. From memory, exhibiting artists included Jo Waite, Nicki Greenberg, Shaun Tan, Hayden Fryer, Glenn Smith, David Blumenstein and Tony Newton.
The room also featured an impressive amount of colourful art spray-painted and hand-painted directly onto the walls by exhibitors Benjamin Constantine, Mel Stringer and Pat Grant.
